    I've been training with Sam Braxton for a few months and have been very pleased with the results so far. From our first introductory call together, it was clear that his approach to fitness is a personalized one. We talked through my fitness goals and dove into what I was looking to get out of working together. I'm a longtime runner with a bad habit of neglecting strength training and have recently found myself more injury prone due to that imbalance in my routine. Sam was quick to offer his guidance and customized a workout/diet plan that would help me build the strength needed to improve my durability as a distance runner. Sam is very approachable, but still keeps his clients accountable for their fitness goals in a way that is motivational and feels like you're on this journey together. Every workout has purpose and his routines are always structured. He is also highly adaptable -- quick to get a read on where you're at during any given session and will effortlessly adjust his training plan to ensure that you get the most out of your time together. I would strongly recommend him.

    I trained with Sam Braxton at the Training Room for a long time. Sam was certainly knowledgeable—he kept me injury free, helped me get much stronger, and was always able to tailor things to my goals/needs. He’s more than just a personal trainer, too. He had lots of good guidance on diet, recovery, etc. I recommend Sam if you want to improve your strength, fitness and life!

    The past year has been a journey of consistency and perseverance, guided by my Fitness Coach, Sam. He has been a constant source of support and motivation throughout this challenging yet rewarding experience. My fitness journey began with a weight of 223 pounds, which peaked at 228 pounds. Today, I’m consistently maintaining a weight around 188 pounds. My body fat percentage has also improved significantly, from over 26% to below 17%. Sam’s accountability and balanced lifestyle coaching strategy have been instrumental in this transformation. Over a year ago, I received a diagnosis of diabetes, which had a profound impact on my mental well-being. Sam’s patience and understanding during this difficult time were invaluable. He customized my fitness plan and helped me develop an updated lifestyle that has restored a more positive body image. Sam’s coaching and flexibility continue to inspire me to maintain and enhance this positive body image. His support has also played a crucial role in my renewed mental stability. I am grateful for Sam’s guidance and contributions to my journey of self-improvement.

    I’ve been working with Sam Braxton for a while now, and I can’t recommend him highly enough — especially for women like me navigating fitness in their 50s. What truly sets Sam apart is his adaptability and attentiveness. He listens carefully to what my body needs on any given day and adjusts our sessions accordingly, whether that means modifying movements, focusing on mobility, or pushing me (safely!) when I’m ready. As a woman in midlife, I so appreciate having a trainer who understands that this is a dynamic time for the body, and who meets me where I am — not where some cookie-cutter program says I should be.
